We moved the shade haven into Ortak's area and he quickly checked out the new machine to make sure it was safe for the goats. He approved.

Staying close to the new lamb as coyotes can be heard moving in a field across the way.

Ortak does not mind most of the kid antics. He will sound a warning when they get to rambunctious.

Ortak leads the way and mom follows when moving sections. All heard animals listen to and respond to his calls and alerts.

He has been calm and watchful from day one. Very compliant and easy to handle, until he alerts and he is all business.

He tends to follow the herds closely. Especially those that wander far from home base.

After a while Kula mom would allow Ortak to greet and stay with the pups. He was gentle but obviously the boss as they grew. He never stayed long but checked in often.
